The Syria Response Coordinators Team revealed a “significant” decline in the humanitarian response in some sectors of northwestern Syria, despite the entry of more than 720 UN aid trucks after the earthquake.
The “Syria Response Coordinators” organization said that the shelter problem in northwestern Syria still needs a solution, with the increase in the number of displaced people in shelter centers and random gatherings, and the difficulty of securing a shelter that achieves a kind of independence for the displaced.
The organization added in a report that most of the announced settlements and residential villages for those affected by the earthquake have not started yet.
The report pointed out that the crisis of removing rubble in the region and the spread of many cracked or collapsing buildings made it a great source of danger, in addition to the crisis of securing hospital imports, which have completely depleted their capacity with weakness in compensation operations.
The organization called for work to remove the rubble of destroyed buildings and construct residential buildings to ensure the survival of families in their areas without having to flee to other places, and the maintenance of previously available services and the repair of those affected.
