The Syrian regime forces killed a young man and injured his brother, by targeting them with live bullets, while they were passing through a checkpoint inside the city of Hasakah.
Activists said that the young man, Ammar al-Mustafa, was killed instantly by gunfire from the regime forces, while his other brother was moderately wounded, after which he was transferred to a hospital inside the city.
The sources pointed out that the two young men drove their car by mistake into the security square of the regime forces in the center of the city of Hasakah, only to be surprised by the regime’s members directly in front of them.
The two young men refused to stop at the checkpoint for fear of arrest, as they were displaced from Idlib governorate, which prompted the regime forces to shoot the car directly.
After their injuries, the two young men were transferred to the “Pearl” Hospital in the center of Al-Hasakah, after the first died, while the other sustained several separate injuries.
The regime forces control the security square in the center of the city of Hasakah, which includes the various security branches affiliated to it, in addition to the building of the “Baath Party” branch and the governorate building, while the “SDF” controls the rest of the city.
