The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that two of its soldiers were injured in the Israeli bombing attack on Damascus.
A military source quoted the SANA news agency as saying, “At around 01:20 today, the enemy of Israel launched a series of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan with a series of missiles targeting some points around the city of Damascus.” I mean
“Our air defense intercepted the attacker’s missiles and shot down some of them, and the aggression caused two soldiers to be injured and some material losses,” the agency claimed.
In response, the “Voice of the Capital” website said Israeli fighters carried out two raids, the first of which targeted an air defense base near Damascus.
According to a source, the latter was “going to the security square area in the Kafr Suseh neighborhood while targeting a moving target on the southern highway, which is believed to be a convoy of a foreign figure allied with the Syrian regime”.
After the attack, the neighborhoods of Al-Midan and Kafarsouseh witnessed an intense movement of ambulances and fire trucks amid rising flames and smoke.
This was the second attack on the positions of regime forces and Iranian militias in a week.Last Wednesday, the Israeli army carried out a missile attack that took Aleppo Airport out of service.
