The Syrian regime announced that civilians were killed as a result of Israeli raids that targeted sites around the city of Damascus and southern Syria.
The Ministry of Defense of the Syrian regime government said in a statement that, after midnight last night, the Israeli warplanes launched an “air aggression with bursts of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus and the southern region,” which led to the killing of “two civilians, and Some material losses.
The statement added that the air defenses “intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them.”
During the past week, Israel launched three raids on sites in Damascus and Homs, killing two officers of the Iranian “Revolutionary Guard” and a leader in the Lebanese “Hezbollah”, and wounding five members of the regime forces.
