US Central Command announced today Wednesday that it conducted a raid late last Saturday and arrested an IS member and two accomplices.
In the statement, it was stated that the US army arrested Huzayfa al-Yemeni and his two mansions, while emphasizing that this would impair the organization’s ability to plan and carry out operations, while no civilians were killed or injured.
On the fifth of this month, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the US military conducted an operation in northwest Syria, as a result of which Khaled al-Juburi, the leading leader of ISIS, was killed.
Centcom said in a statement that Al-Juburi was responsible for planning the organization’s attacks in Europe and developed its leadership structure, emphasizing that no civilians were killed or injured during the operation.
International coalition forces regularly carry out attacks using drones targeting the leaders of jihadist organizations listed as terrorist organizations such as ISIS and al-Qaeda.
