Iran’s Roads and Cities Construction Minister, Mehrdad Bazarbash, announced that an agreement was signed with Damascus to send 50,000 Iranian visitors annually to Syria to visit “religious shrines”.
Bazar Bash stated that achieving vital relations between the two countries requires taking important decisions, and emphasized that the obstacles faced by the private and production sector in Syria should be removed.
On the other hand, Mohammad Samir Khalil, Minister of Economy of the Syrian regime government, evaluated that the relations between the regime and its ally Iran are distinguished at the strategic level in all areas.
The Sadiq Al-Watan newspaper said that Khalil said that he was aware of the regime’s desire to make every possible effort to contribute to the reconstruction of Syria, and that he hoped the results of the joint committee’s talks would be subject to evaluation, measurement and evaluation. follow-up according to a defined time frame with the availability of specialized committees to evaluate the development processes and avoid any delays in implementation.
Khalil called for a departure from ready-made templates and traditional frameworks to speed up the implementation of agreements signed between the two parties.
He pointed out that supporting the private sector is a decision taken by the Syrian and Iranian sides beforehand.
