Israeli military officials revealed a list of names of Iranian leaders and others from “Hezbollah” working against Israel from Syria, and others killed by Israeli strikes.
The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz quoted Israeli officers as saying to Haaretz that the list includes the head of the Syria and Lebanon department in the Quds Force, Ali Hassan Mahdavi, and the head of the support office, responsible for the delivery of ammunition and weapons from Iran to Lebanon and Syria, Razi Ahmed Mousavi, works with him.
The list also included Amir Hajizadeh, who is responsible for dealing with technological developments in new weapons, and works from a base near Damascus, with him in charge of the Aleppo region, Ghulam Hassan Hosseini, who is supervising the modernization of missiles and making them more accurate.
Working with Hajizadeh and Hosseini are three officials from Syria and Lebanon who are under the responsibility of the Lebanese “Hezbollah”, and they are: Abbas Mahmoud Zalzali, Abbas Mahmoud al-Dabbas and Jalal al-Lebanese, according to Israeli officials.
The Israeli officers confirmed that ten of the most prominent Iranian leaders have been killed as a result of their activities in Syria since 2018, which is worrying many officers.
Among the dead were Ihsan Karbalawi Four and Morteza Saeed Nejad, who were killed a year ago in a raid on a secret site prepared for them by Zelzali and al-Dabbas near Damascus, in addition to Daoud Jafari, the air defense commander in Syria, who died in the explosion of his car, and no other person was appointed in his place.
