Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to pay Syrian President Bashar Assad a “heavy price” if he continues to allow missile and drone strikes against Israel from Syrian territory.
Netanyahu said the Israeli army had hit Iranian targets and regime forces in Syria.
The Assad regime knows that the price we put is only the beginning. “If it continues to allow the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles from Syrian territory to Israel, the price will be heavy,” he said.
Netanyahu assessed that “Israel is suffering from a major terrorist attack”, promising to restore “security and tranquility” during his tenure.
Netanyahu stressed that Israel is “preparing for major operations on all fronts if necessary and will remove the danger that threatens it”.
“When we are divided, our enemies look at us and believe that they will defeat us with attacks from Syria, Lebanon and Gaza.”
