The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andrei Yermak, said Russian missiles hit two residential complexes in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine on Sunday.
Yermak shared on his account via the “Telegram” communication application, “While the Russians continued to bombard the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, they launched missile attacks on two residences.”
According to the same source, there were no immediate reports of any injuries due to the bombing.
Russia’s war against Ukraine has resulted in 8,317 civilian deaths and 13,892 civilian injuries in its second year so far, according to the latest UN figures.
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine, followed by international refusal and economic sanctions against Moscow; under his dominion.
