Palestinian-Syrian refugee families in Lebanon avoided buying Eid clothes and abandoned some of the customs they were accustomed to.
The Syrian Palestinians Action Group said that for Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the holiday has lost its joy due to alienation and difficult living conditions, as well as alienation from relatives.
He referred to the financial difficulties of refugees in addition to the decline in the living standards of Palestinian-Syrians in Lebanon.
In a separate context, the Lebanese army has deported more than 50 Syrian refugees from Lebanon in the past two weeks, according to “Agence France Presse”.
“The Intelligence Directorate in the Lebanese army surrenders the arrested violators to the Black Border Regiment, which keeps their status outside Lebanon’s borders,” the agency said, as quoted by a security and military source.
