The Syrian American Initiative (SAI) sent a congratulatory message to German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and German envoy to Syria Stefan Schneck, on the occasion of German Unity Day, as it considered it an occasion to strengthen the “West Germany Scenario” initiative in Syria.
The Syrian American Initiative (SAI) includes the Arab Democratic Alliance (ADA), the American organization Global Justice, the American Euphrates Civilization Organization (HEUC), and the German Damascus Foundation for Culture, Studies, Thought, and Development (DSKS).
The message stated that those in charge of the initiative and their political partners in the vision and public work extend their congratulations to Germany on Unity Day, which falls today, Tuesday, October 3. In which Germany announced to the whole world its rejection of division and fragmentation, its bias towards the right of peoples to a free, dignified and democratic life, and turning the page on the “Berlin Wall” that separated humanity into a free world and another closed world.
The statement added that the German people demonstrated, in all stages of their confrontation with tyranny and then war and its devastating effects, which tore apart their society and destroyed their structure, their insistence on life, rebuilding, reuniting their sons and daughters, and restoring their unity and sovereignty.
He continued: “The Syrian American Initiative (SAI) takes this opportunity to recall its creative initiative that it put forward last year, under the title “West Germany Scenario,” which is inspired by the unique German experience, its leadership and precedence towards unifying the areas of influence left by World War II, so West Germany was able to reach To its lofty goal gradually by eliminating all causes and factors of division, it announced on this day the unity of its lands and people after getting rid of tyranny, chaos and external influence.
He added: “Since 2011, Germany has provided a lot to the Syrian people, embraced hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, and contributed to supporting areas liberated from Assad’s clutches, and its political and humanitarian role in supporting every political and development movement that is beneficial to Syrians and the world does not end.” On behalf of the Syrians in Germany and the world, we address you today, to express our congratulations and gratitude for your great and honorable role in the Syrian issue.”
The statement also confirmed that the “West Germany Scenario” initiative is a road map from the gates of development, economy, administrative and political organization, that would go hand in hand with the implementation of United Nations Resolution 2254 and the political transition, and achieving justice for all after getting rid of terrorism in all its forms, whether it is regime terrorism. Or a foreign militia or religious extremist organizations. The children of the Syrian people, whom senior German historians describe as the “Prussians of the East” (Preußen des Ostens), are able, with the determination of their women, men and children, to achieve miracles and return their country to the path of renaissance and civilizational contribution as they were in various stages of history, to get rid once and for all of the “Assad Wall” that tore Syria apart. And its people and hindered its progress over the past decades, and flooded the Middle East and the world with terrorism and drugs. The initiative concluded its statement by saying that the comprehensive uprising of our people in Suwayda, Jabal al-Arab, proves, to us and to you, every day that the Syrians will not stop until they achieve their legitimate ambitions for freedom and dignity, wishing Germany and its people a bright future worthy of the sacrifices they have made for it.
It is worth noting that the Syrian-American Initiative (SAI) had proposed the “West Germany Scenario” and “No Man’s Land” initiatives, and these two initiatives were inspired by the model of West Germany, which was able to unify the areas of influence that Germany had entered after World War II, and their implementation requires a Turkish-American rapprochement that guarantees the interests of Germany. Both parties and achieve for the Syrians a way out towards a comprehensive political solution based on unifying the areas of Turkish and American influence in northwest and northeastern Syria after neutralizing terrorism in both areas at the same time and organizing the affairs of the vast area that can flourish through development, administrative reform and local elections to provide the opportunity for refugees to return to their country.
