The regime’s news agency SANA revealed that the Directorate of Domestic Trade and Consumer Protection in Tartus seized 1,444 tins of olive oil from a warehouse in rural Tartus.
According to the ministry’s claim, the tanks, contrary to the claim, exceeding 500 million Syrian liras, were tried to be put up for sale outside the governor’s office through illegal means.
Governorship Domestic Trade Manager Nadim Alluş stated that after the follow-up and inspection, the amount in question was confiscated and samples were taken to make sure that it complies with the Syrian standard specification.
He added that confiscations were issued against the violator with the lack of data on other cards that were affixed to a number of other packages, ranging from no invoices to no feature cards in the packages.
